"The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was founded in 1913 'to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fait treatment to all.'

ADL fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry here and abroad, combats international terrorism, probes the roots of hatred, advocates before Congress, comes to the aid of victims of bigotry, develops educational programs and serves as a public resource for government, media, law enforcemnet and the public, all toward the goals of countering and reducing hatred."
